36: It’s that time of the year.

It’s the last month of the year. It’s Christmas. It’s a New Year ahead. Some of your resolutions made it through, some fell on their face right before December started. You wish you tried harder and then work on your next list of resolutions.

I make so many lists throughout the year that a list of New Year’s Resolutions makes no sense. I don’t wait till it’s that time of the year to get around to at least starting something.

If I ever write a post about my lists, it’ll be a long one. They are based on so many categories that I confuse myself from time to time, but that’s beside the point. I make lists and they help me get my work done – that’s the point.

We hope to infuse everything we do or say with so much significance. We want things to be special. We want clockwork routines and appropriate background music as we fumble our way through our reality.

There can be some perfection, not only perfection. As much as this time of the year seems like the perfect time to start something new, any time is as good and I can vouch for that.

So, what are your New Year’s resolutions? Nah, don’t answer that! I’m just kidding! Happy Holidays!

  1. Yeah! People make New Year resolutions. I too make resolutions. But I don’t wait for the New Year. The moment I think of doing something,, I plan and start. There is no time frame for that.
